Consent and preferences

On the first visit, a banner allows you to accept or reject optional Google measurement. Your choice is stored locally in the browser so that it does not have to be repeated on every page. You can change it later using the “Cookie preferences” button on the site.

Google Ads and the Google tag

If you accept, the Google tag associated with Luís Valente’s Google Ads account is loaded. It is used to measure advertising effectiveness and to record a quote request as a conversion only after the form has actually been submitted successfully. Google may use cookies or identifiers in accordance with the terms applicable to its services. The tag is not loaded until optional consent has been granted.

Consent covers Google Consent Mode signals for advertising storage, advertising user data, ad personalisation and analytics storage. If you reject, those signals remain denied.

Form security

The contact page uses Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish legitimate use from automated traffic. This security mechanism is necessary to prevent abuse and is not used by me for advertising or audience analytics.

Strictly necessary storage

Your consent preference is stored in browser local storage so that your choice can be respected. Hosting and security infrastructure may also use mechanisms strictly necessary to transmit communications, provide security or deliver functionality you request.
